Weekly Workwear- Camel Coats

It’s raining, and I am almost positive you have considered purchasing a camel coat to throw over your stylish work digs, only one problem though. They are either too expensive or too cheap or just to blah. Well, I found some that are reasonably priced, good* quality, and super chic.

Coat shopping can be tricky because when you try them on they never come out looking like the person you seen it on. Coats are not made equal and material is the first thing you need to consider when making a coat purchase.

Look 2- Black Friday

I absolutely love casual Friday and whoever invented this holiday should be rewarded/honored in style. I put together this all black workwear look that reminds me of a karate uniform the more I stare at it, I do love it though.

The theme for the November workwear lookbook is all about clean lines and structured sets- Neat November. The first look is minimalism, a look circulating the blogs and magazines this season. I love it and you should to because you probably have these pieces in your work wardrobe already. Now its time to style them the right way.

Look 1- Culottes to Work

Fall is here which means dressing up for work just got easier. You no longer have to worry about not being able to wear shorts, you can do back to long sleeves and boots. The theme for October will revolve around ‘odd’ pieces and how to make them work for the job.

*The AUGUST Ages Recap*

To wrap up the month of AUGUST we are recapping our business casual how to dress for work (and anywhere else) at 21, 23, and 25. At 21 we kept it classic, at 23 we played on our love for the edge, and at 25 we went straight for the sleek sexy look.

At 21 your wardrobe will be a mix of all the rags you wore in college and these new-found ‘work’ clothes. The best thing you can do for yourself is buy a nice pair of pants as seen (here) and pair them like crazy. The key to this look is a GOOD pair of paints, meaning the quality is going to be everything. Find a fit you like that doesn’t get too wrinkled or lint ridden and make them your go to!

At 23 you have found your niche and it’s really about breaking out of any boxes work or society may be pressing upon you. Find a way to keep your youth through your style by adding a funky print to your ensemble (shown here) or just toss on a leather jacket. A leather jacket cures all, even a blah outfit day, so they are important to keep around.

At 25 you are grown, so a staple dress might just be your best friend. At this point a cute dress would be great for an important meeting at work and a fun date night. It’s good to have a staple you can wear at anytime of the day like the one pictured here or (here).

Look 3- How to Dress for 21

How to dress for work at 21 has never been made easier and we are discussing this for our third installment of ‘the AUGUST ages’.
