Happy Monday Ladies! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and kept up with me via instagram (follow me HERE). My best friend had her quarter century birthday brunch and I always enjoy myself when I am around this particular group of people, pure happiness! For my look, I opted for a grudge chic style by pairing a belt and a dress.

To wrap up the month of AUGUST we are recapping our business casual how to dress for work (and anywhere else) at 21, 23, and 25. At 21 we kept it classic, at 23 we played on our love for the edge, and at 25 we went straight for the sleek sexy look.
At 21 your wardrobe will be a mix of all the rags you wore in college and these new-found ‘work’ clothes. The best thing you can do for yourself is buy a nice pair of pants as seen (here) and pair them like crazy. The key to this look is a GOOD pair of paints, meaning the quality is going to be everything. Find a fit you like that doesn’t get too wrinkled or lint ridden and make them your go to!
At 23 you have found your niche and it’s really about breaking out of any boxes work or society may be pressing upon you. Find a way to keep your youth through your style by adding a funky print to your ensemble (shown here) or just toss on a leather jacket. A leather jacket cures all, even a blah outfit day, so they are important to keep around.
At 25 you are grown, so a staple dress might just be your best friend. At this point a cute dress would be great for an important meeting at work and a fun date night. It’s good to have a staple you can wear at anytime of the day like the one pictured here or (here).
For work this Tuesday I took a pass at casual layering with my coveted jumpsuit (previously worn here ) and this really fun tank. Sadly enough, when I got ready to take photos my camera battery was pretty much dead so I had to quickly get what I could get.
This orange tank has to be my favorite piece in my closet right now, I wear it with everything. Over the weekend I went for a pure minimalist looks with the basics.
How to dress for work at 21 has never been made easier and we are discussing this for our third installment of ‘the AUGUST ages’.
Today my workwear consisted of this long sleeve printed dress, my DIY necklace, and pointy flats, perfect for my pre-fall mind frame. Before having dinner with a girlfriend I was able to capture a few shots in this gorgeous gem of a spot in Alameda.
