This smile + my love for green runs deep, very deep, into my core. I can sit and say I am happy without any if ands or buts, and no everything isn’t perfect but I am happy! My moods change from day-to-day, but lately the smile has remained. This outfit though- easy and clean mix of green, highs, lows- along with the fact I got called the Boosie of Blogging. I thought it was the funniest thing ever and I am claiming it- I love me some Boosie so Im going to coin this from here on out.
Hello Ladies! Happy Tuesday to you all, and I hope you are killing this work week if it is one for you. To start the week I wore this very basic plaid blouse and dark denim jeans look that I really enjoyed. I’m the biggest believer in fashion+style being 100% percent authentic and each outfit you see featured has indeed been worn that day.
Feels good to be back! Consistency is key and without it you may never find your path, so thats why I am so happy to have my tripod back! Anyhow, todays outfit inspiration comes from a bad hair day and a few thrifted threads.
I kept it really casual in this denim shirt dress I scored from UNIQLO on sale recently! I paired it with some sneaks and gold jewlery.
I’ve noticed my latest obsession with blue is not letting up anytime soon, soooo i’m embracing it. For my first day back to the office after Mother’s Day weekend I wore this casual get up thats perfect for work and this hot weather.
So if you have not wondered over to the about me page here is a quick briefing on my blog name. I was looking for a name that could describe my style and could also become its own brand. As I was thinking of what describes my style I just kept thinking ‘ i just do whatever’ and its true, I pick one item and the rest gets added along the way. The me always just doing is the ‘effortless’ and the putting together of different pieces until a complete product is made is the ‘composition’. A prime example of this in action is my outfit today. It started out as a regular romper I was lounging around in. Since it was cold outside figured I didn’t want to face the chill sleeveless so I through on this white tee over it. Then came the pops- the plaid, the sandals, the fringe, and bag till I was layered up.
For work today I wore this DIY shirt dress, my favorite boyfriend jeans, and my favorite booties. For a while now I have been wanting a blouse similar to this one, but all the ones I see are ridiculously overpriced or just not my style. Last night it hit me as I was thinking of what I could wear that could both address this heat and be work appropriate. I looked in my closet and saw this dress when my light bulb came on. Check out how I did it below.
